Interasia Lines to Launch Japan - India Subcontinent Direct Service

The above coverage will provide Interasia Lines is pleased to announce a new Japan-India Subcontinent direct service known as CHS3 starting from end of May.

The new service port rotations will include Osaka, Kobe, Yokkaichi, Yokohama, Tokyo, Hong Kong, Singapore, Port Kelang, Nhava Sheva, Karachi, Pipavav, Colombo, Port Kelang, Singapore, Vung Tau, Shekou, HongKong, Osaka. It will be operated by 7 x 4,250 teu vessels (5 deployed by MOL and 2 by Wan Hai) providing fixed weekly sailings. Interasia Lines will be the slot charter partner on this service.

a competitive service for customers in both Japan and India Subcontinent, thus enabling for fast product movements with the shortest transit time in the market.

This is also another step forward by Interasia Lines for India direct services, after its recent launch of ICI (China-India service) in end February this year. With this new service loop, Interasia Lines is now able to provide shippers with more options of direct sailing between Japan, China and Southeast Asia and the emerging markets in India, Pakistan and Sri Lanka.

The maiden voyage of the new CHS3 service is scheduled sailing from Osaka on 30th May 2016, and expected arrival Nhava Sheva on 20th June 2016.
